CONCEPT OVERVIEW
The primary intent of this event is to highlight technologies with the potential to support US / Norwegian and allied special operations forces in Arctic environments. This includes technologies developed for high-latitude regions, cold weather operations, long periods of darkness, and cross-over conditions.

VISA requirements
As of January 8, 2025: An Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) will be required for U.S. travelers traveling through and to UK (includes transit).
This requirement applies to both airside and landside transits. The ETA is a digital permission linked to your passport, valid for two years or until your passport expires, and costs £10.(
Applications can be completed online or via a mobile app, and approvals are typically granted quickly.
Recommendations:
- If you have a transfer in the UK throughout your trip to TE 25-1, apply for an ETA well in advance.
