This latest incident is simply one of many taking place all across America, of Trump supporters being refused service or accommodations, however the fact that it took place in Trumps hometown (New York), is especially troubling regardless of the fact that it’s a progressive enclave.
According to the New York Post Esther Levy, 61, claims that she along with her companion Alvin Goldstein a retired judge were refused service at a Mexican restaurant, because she was wearing Trump paraphernalia, consisting of a hat and a button.
The eatery called the “Cancun Inn in Sugar Loaf” is about 60 miles outside of the Big Apple.
Levy recounts the incident and recalls taking a seat without incident and ordering two sangrias from a smiling waitress, when suddenly she was told to leave.
Levy, a writer told the newspaper “I was shocked; she [the waitress]seemed very surprised by it all and was told to refuse us service. We just got up and started to leave.”
“On the way out, the co-owner decided to yell at me and humiliate me,” Levy recalled. “He said, ‘We don’t serve Trump supporters here. Get out of here and never come back.”
