Why There Are No 9-Yr-Old Girls in Syria, Iraq, Libya

Few 9 year-old girls can be found in Syria, Iraq, Libya and other areas experiencing humanitarian crises.

They are gone because, every minute, girls between ages 1-9 are kidnapped, sold, and bought at slave bazaars then married and remarried throughout Islamic-controlled areas. ISIS is not the only group orchestrating what it calls a “righteous act.”

Nor is sex trafficking is extremist or isolated. It mirrors Muhammad’s behavior and instruction in the Qur’an.

It is integral to Islam.

Under Islam, the key age to marry a girl is between 6 and 9 years old. Muhammad’s last wife Aisha was 9 years old when he consummated their marriage. She was 6 years old when he married her. It is written that Muhammad also punched her in the chest (Sahih Muslim 4:2127).

Muhammad did everything the Qur’an permits: marrying multiple women (4:3), including slaves (4:24) and prepubescent girls (65:4), and beating wives as a form of punishment (4:34).

Like the time of Muhammad, today, non-Muslim women and girls are targeted to be bought and sold as sex slaves. Historically, as Islam expands, so also does slavery.
