When Washington Post defector Ezra Klein started up Vox in 2014, the website’s self-defined mission was to “explain the news” and “inform” readers.
Presumably, that was in contrast to the M.O. at WaPO, which is to make the news and where — as with so many liberal news outlets — the end always justifies the means.
Whether Klein lived up to his own expectations is the stuff of another column. But for right now, suffice it to say that one of Vox’s editors, Emmet Rensin, has gone off message … not to mention the rails when it comes to presidential hopeful Donald Trump….
