VETERAN ARRESTED FOR DEFENDING VETS MEMORIAL FROM POKEMON GO PLAYERS

MINNESOTA — Bruce Reed is a Vietnam veteran who takes an active roll in protecting the Veterans Memorial Park in Winona, Minnesota. Earlier this week he took matters into his own hands by confronting a group of millennials playing the popular cell-phone game called, Pokemon GO. The group has been camping out at the Veterans Memorial playing the game. Reed finds that to be disrespectful to the men and women who lost their lives serving America, and who are celebrated at the memorial.

The group of millennials pitched tents and set up a canopy on the lawn at the memorial. “It’s been like that for days,” Reed told reporters. There have been several complaints made to the city, but nothing has been done. Thus, Reed took matters into his own hands by confronting the group. Unfortunately, the group of millennials showed Reed a lack of respect, and so the confrontation became physical at times. Reed was arrested for disorderly conduct and destruction of property.
