UNESCO’s Anti-Jewish Temple Mount Vote Ignores Fact The Quran Says Site Is Jewish


The Jewish people’s holiest site was referred to only its Arab name, Haram al-Sharif or Holy Sanctuary and Israel is referred as the “occupying power.” The text does refer to the Western Wall Plaza but places it in quotation marks, after using the Arabic Al-Buraq Plaza. Additional the resolution accuses Israel of “planting fake Jewish graves in Muslim cemeteries” and of “the continued conversion of many Islamic and Byzantine remains into the so-called Jewish ritual baths or into Jewish prayer places.”

The resolution was approved by 33 states, including France, Russia, Spain and Sweden. Seventeen cowardly countries abstained while six voted against it; the United States, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The UNESCO resolution echoes the propaganda of Palestinian Chairman Abbas, and Muslims across the Middle East. But that propaganda ignores that the ancient Greeks, Romans, Christians, and even the ancient Muslims reported Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were the property of the Jewish people.
