Does truly living the Bible mean serving a gay wedding?


I had planned to limit my comments about the Arizona battle between liberty and tyranny to the extremely well-articulated Matt Walsh blog I posted earlier, but then I saw the logically challenged article from Kirsten Powers and could not let it go.

First of all, let me say that I was thrilled to read that Ms. Powers has recently become a Christian. While I celebrate her faith, I must respond to her misapplication of Scripture and flawed theology regarding how Christians should act in the marketplace.

Second, in the larger context, we must admit that it has become very popular lately among libertarian-leaning people of faith (of which I am one) to avoid the truths of Scripture whenever it causes discomfort in an increasingly secular society. The result is that many evangelicals are changing the Bible to fit society, rather than letting the whole truth of the Bible influence society.
