Join us in Grafton West Virginia as we celebrate the birth of our nation on the 4th of July as we hear from two of West Virginia’s members of Congress. Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito and Congressman David McKinley will speak about the greatness of our country.

Shelley Moore Capito represents the people of West Virginia’s Second Congressional District in Congress, where she has advocated for a range of policies that directly impact her constituents, including energy independence, quality healthcare and the safety and security of our service men and women. She prides herself on being approachable and accessible to the people she serves.

david-mckinlyDavid McKinley has been a strong advocate for common sense, market driven reforms to help government operate more efficiently for many years. He also recognizes that the coal industry is the backbone of West Virginia’s economy and the attacks on coal from Washington must be stopped. This is why David B. McKinley is proud to represent the 1st District of West Virginia in our nation’s Capitol.

joe-wurzelbacherAlso taking the stage will be Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher. Joe became a household name when in 2008 he asked then Presidential candidate Obama if the candidate’s tax plans would hurt his small business. Taken off guard, then Senator Obama gave a rambling response, saying that we needed to “spread the wealth” around. Joe had done what the media couldn’t – he got an honest answer from candidate Obama, and the legend of Joe the Plumber was born. Join us at 11:30 for a social hour with refreshments provided by Boston Beanery Restaurant. At 12:30 we will hear from our liberty speakers as we celebrate the 4th together. We’ll take questions from the audience to wrap up the hour, so there will be plenty of time to get to cookouts and fireworks that evening.
