While I’m sure President Obama would rather be playing a round of golf with the Russian President, he’s making a rather feeble attempt to prevent full-blown war in Ukraine and stop Europe from becoming divided as it was during the Cold War. But after Russian forces, undoubtably under orders from President Putin himself, in the form of attack helicopters, personnel carriers, and transport helicopters breached the borders and took control of airports, Russia is in position to stage a full invasion, something that none other than our favorite Alaskan predicted back in 2008.
Yup, Sarah Palin saw this coming before President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, or UN Ambassador Samantha Power. In a Facebook post on Friday Palin said the following:
“Yes, I could see this one from Alaska. I’m usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did, despite my accurate prediction being derided as “an extremely far-fetched scenario” by the “high-brow” Foreign Policy magazine. Here’s what this “stupid” “insipid woman” predicted back in 2008: “After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama’s reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia’s Putin to invade Ukraine next.”
