It certainly has been a time of deep satisfaction since the election last month. Whether or not Trump was your ideal Republican candidate, watching the Democrats lose (and lose BIG) was the most overwhelmingly joyous political theater I have witnessed in my lifetime. Granted, i have spent most of my short adult life under the Obama Presidency, so I don’t have a lot of other happy political memories to reminisce on.
Before we get too ahead of ourselves in this post-election euphoria, I want to point out the signals coming from Barrack Obama regarding what his plan is after he leaves the oval office. We all know what the Clintons did after Bill’s presidency came to an end in the 90’s. Did he and Hillary quietly sail off into the sunset? Please. People like them, the smart, educated, proper progressive liberals, could never let loose the burden of micromanaging society. We wouldn’t last ten minutes without their superior influence, don’t ya know?
So what they naturally did was use Bill’s (albeit damaged) name to ram Hillary into office, setup the Clinton Crime Family Foundation, and began the back breaking work of giving speeches to raise millions of dollars in cash. You know, to help the children and stuff. They assumed this would guarantee Hillary’s success in running for President, but what they didn’t account for was the simple fact that Hillary is a terrible, awful, dreadful human being and presidential candidate — two things that cannot coexist in a run for the highest office.
You can be a terrible human and a great politician and still get elected (see Barrack Obama), and you can be a wonderful human being but a terrible politician and still get elected (see Senator Mike Lee), but you can’t be both. The singular exception of this hard rule is Senator Harry Reid who simultaneously sounds like an insane asylum escapee and is a terrible human being but somehow was able to serve in the Senate for 453 years.
Now to circulate back to Barrack and Michelle Obama. What will they do after leaving the White House (finally) in several weeks? NPR’s Steve Inskeep asked Barrack that question this week:
“What I am interested in is just developing a whole new generation of talent,” Obama told NPR’s Steve Inskeep in an interview on Morning Edition.
“There are such incredible young people who not only worked on my campaign, but I’ve seen in advocacy groups,” Obama said. “I’ve seen passionate about issues like climate change, or conservation, criminal justice reform. You know, campaigns to — for a livable wage, or health insurance. And making sure that whatever resources, credibility, spotlight that I can bring to help them rise up. That’s something that I think I can do well, I think Michelle can do well.“
Allow me to translate this for you.
Barrack is smart enough to know that the Democrats have no talent on the bench. Hillary Clinton was literally their best option this election, an old rich white woman with no charisma, no energy, and really just nothing to offer their radically insane base of voters. Barrack is also a supremely arrogant narcissist, having been treated like a walking Messiah by everyone working for him and the main stream media. He will therefore begin the process of personally selecting the next Democrat Party stars and promoting them.
