Where does Obama Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch stand on Islamic jihad?

The question in the title might be one for the Senate to consider in their confirmation hearings of AG nominee Loretta Lynch, which according to some sources are not likely to begin in the lame-duck session in November. Maybe that is because Chuck Schumer has already declared that Lynch “is a consummate professional, [who]has a first-rate legal mind and is committed in her bones to the equal application of justice for all people.

So what is Lynch’s position on jihad and its religious underpinnings? In the 2012 terror plot to bomb New York’s JFK Airport, Lynch, as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District, weighed in on the sentencing of 66-year-old co-conspirator Kareem Ibrahim, who was given a life semtence. According to the Associated Press (via the Seattle Times):

Lynch said in a statement that [Ibrahim], a Shiite imam from Trinidad, “abandoned the true tenants [sic]of his religion” by participating in the plot.
