As expected, the Republican National Convention has been anything but boring. From high-security risks shutting down surrounding areas, to delegates nearly rioting at the start. This RNC is sure to be one for the ages.

Unfortunately for the potential FLOTUS, she is currently at the forefront of Republican controversy after her opening speech last night.

Only seconds into her speech, people began noticing similarities between what she was saying and what Michelle Obama said at the 2008 Democratic Convention.

It didn’t take long before Twitter dug it’s fangs into the Melania fiasco and had a field day over the apparent plagiarism.

#FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes began to trend within seconds, with Twitter users attributing famous movie quotes and lyrics to Melania.

The campaign issued a statement alluding to the alleged plagiarism, saying the speech borrowed from Melania Trump’s “life’s inspirations” and was put together by a “team of writers.” But observers pointed out that she told NBC’s Matt Lauer before the speech that she herself wrote it “with as little help as possible.”
