At the Republican presidential debate, moderator and FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly tried to ambush Donald Trump.
After reminding The Donald that he had “called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals,” Kelly asked the candidate a rhetorical question that was supposed to eviscerate him, “How will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who is likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?”
For the record, when it comes to insults, Trump is equal opportunity all the way. He’s made disparaging remarks about McCain’s war record, called Lindsay Graham an “idiot” and a “stiff” and said Rick Perry started wearing glasses to look smarter, “and it just doesn’t work.” But none of them are whining about it, or saying that Trump is part of a war on establishment Republicans.
The reality-TV star just shrugged off Megyn’s attack with, “What I say is what I say” and “I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct.”
