Kent Charles Thelen

Born: November 22, 1960 in Bakersfield, CA. Raised mostly in Joplin, MO

Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing & Management from Missouri Southern State University (MSSU). Graduated Cum Laude in 1982. A lifetime member of Omicron Delta Epsilon’s economics honor society.

Work:

Naval Aviator 1983-1990. Winged March of 1985, graduating with the training command’s highest honor — Commodore’s List of Distinguished Aviators. Flew P3 Orions while based out of NAS Barbers Pt. Hawaii. My warfare specialty was Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Anti-Surface Warfare (ASUW). Received numerous medals, one for serving during combat (National Defense Medal) as part of Operation Desert Storm, while serving in the Naval Reserve.
Delta Air Lines 1990-Present. Currently a Boeing 767 International Captain.
