AFTER ISLAM’S ‘CHARLIE’: Will Europe Rethink Gun Control?


France’s gun laws are considered restrictive (Newton, George D and Franklin E Zimring. 1969. “Firearm Licensing: Permissive v Restrictive.”):
— There is no right to bear arms for the French.
— To own a gun, you need a hunting or sporting license, which needs to be repeatedly renewed and requires a psychological evaluation.

And yet, those strict gun laws did not prevent more than a dozen innocent civilians from being murdered…by Islamic thugs who were able to obtain weapons…

What’s worse, for the safety of France’s citizens, is the fact that not ALL their police are armed. It was reported by,, and the UK’s that officers that arrived by bike, were unarmed and had to flee when they saw the Islamists brandishing AK-47s.
