House Democrats To Challenge Trump’s Electoral College Win

At 1PM on Friday January 6th Congress is slated to count the Electoral College ballots to officially elect Donald Trump as President… but up to ten House Democrats, led by Rep. Ed Perlmutter of Colorado, are planning to challenge the results.

Perlmutter released a statement saying the House Democrats’ protest “is not about trying to stop Donald Trump from becoming President,” but “the fact that our liberty, freedom and democracy were compromised by Russia’s intrusion into America’s election.”

Do they really expect us to believe it’s not about stopping Trump, or at least an attempt to de-legitimize the nascent Trump administration?

GIVE IT UP..The damned Election is OVER

Politico spoke to Sheila Jackson Lee about the challenge. It’s not a surprise that Sheila Jackson Lee thinks she can overturn the election results. According to Politco;

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee said in a phone interview that she and her allies plan to challenge the validity of electoral votes in multiple states, where she argued voter suppression tactics may have tainted the outcome. She said a separate batch of challenges will focus on disqualifying electors who may have been ineligible to serve at all.

“This is an American question of justice and fairness and the appropriate running of presidential elections,” Jackson Lee said.

No it isn’t Rep Jackson Lee its an American question of ten Democrats in the house not being smart enough to accept the election results.
