Renowned Civil Rights activist Charles Evers said he endorsed Trump because of his business acumen.
Evers, whose brother was assassinated in front of the family’s Jackson home over 50 years ago, was the first black man to be elected mayor of a Mississippi town since Reconstruction.
He gained popularity when he switched to the Republican Party in 1980 and endorsed Ronald Reagan.
Evers listed his reasoning for supporting Donald Trump… mainly focusing on the job creation he believes Trump will bring to (and back) to Americans.
