Hackers Hit The Democrats AGAIN

Sometimes, when it rains, it pours. This seems to be the case for the Democrats, as they are once again the victim of hackers. The last time was just a week before the Democratic National Convention.

This supposedly led to the release of thousands of emails proving the Convention was anything but neutral during the primaries. This led to the chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., to announce her resignation. Now it has happened again.

The Washington Times reports:

The computers of the House Democratic campaign committee have been hacked in an intrusion that investigators say resembles the recent cyber breach of the Democratic National Committee, a spokeswoman for the committee said Friday.

The incident added another layer of mystery to the hacking of Democratic Party information that has been revealed in the heat of this year’s presidential and congressional elections.

Many have accused the Russians including Obama. This assessment has been verified by computer experts. The question we must ask is why would the Russians be involved with hacking the Democrats?

How would they benefit by gaining info from the Democrats? Were they after the list of donors? Do they know something about improper donations made to particular candidates? Again this should cause us to wonder: why would the Russians care?

Whatever the reason, Trump has not made the situation better.

The Times continues:

This week, Trump encouraged Russia to seek and release more than 30,000 other missing emails deleted by Clinton, the former secretary of state. Democrats accused him of trying to get a foreign adversary to conduct espionage that could affect this November’s elections, but Trump later said he was merely being sarcastic.

But one wonders how involved the Donald is in all this cloak and dagger.
