Feds fighting on two fronts to completely control Internet


Something insidious and secretive is quietly happening underneath our noses. Not that this is anything new from the Obama administration mind you, but since this one hits particularly close to home (i.e. this website and Facebook page), we thought we better alert you.

Within the last couple of weeks, both the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) have announced their intention to regulate (i.e. control) the Internet.

Your — and our — freedom of speech on these pages is under direct assault.

Under the pretext of “fairness” (of course), FCC Chairman Tom Wheelerannounced his commission was claiming the power to regulate the Internet like a utility service in order to regulate Internet service providers and the speed rate at which they provide service. In other words, Internet providers couldn’t throttle back data speed for certain content and customers, and speed it back up for others.
