I’m just going to assume that everyone is sick of hearing talking heads weep about income inequality in America. It seems that even though the Occupy Wall Street movement has gone away, demonization of success continues. This is bad enough, but when it is coupled with demagoguery and attempts to divide Americans into rigid classes, it gets worse. Don’t believe me? Just listen to the President’s speeches from the past decade and count how many times he specifically mentions the middle class. Then count how many times and what he says whenever America’s wealthy are mentioned. He wants to make the middle class his martyrs while making people hate wealthy Americans (of which demographic Obama is a member).
Don’t get me wrong – there are certainly cases in the US where jobs are controlled to benefit some people more than others for the wrong reasons. Take a look at ex-CEO of Mozilla Brendan Eich, who resigned because people wouldn’t respect his God and Government-given right to hold an opinion on the issue of same-sex marriage. But that’s not income inequality, that’s just intolerance. If the left loves diversity as much as they claim, why do they only want a homogeneous society?
