I was lounging on the couch with my siblings as we watched a T.V. show before snack time. My brothers, and the two children we’re watching, have become infatuated with the show Curious George. I have to admit, I’ve liked the show too. On this particular episode, I found something worth mentioning.
George had recently learned how squirrels store their food in the ground. When squirrels don’t find the nuts they buried, they are left to grow and become trees, or whatever the seed planted came from. For lack of cupboard space, George thought the best thing to do would be to move all the food under the ground (the Man with the Yellow Hat was toying with the idea of buying less food, and George, or his stomach, couldn’t dream of having less food). Finding that George had taken all the perishables and put them under the ground, he figured out he left out an important part.
