As conservative election observers expected all along, Sen. Bernie Sanders finally sold out to Hillary Clinton and endorsed her for president on Tuesday.
“She will be the Democratic nominee for president,” Sanders said. “I intend to do everything I can to make sure she is the next president of the United States.”
Sanders had built his entire campaign on an appeal to stand up for the little guy against Washington corruption and the wealthy.
Sanders, who gained points for honesty by being the only openly Socialist candidate on the Democratic Party ticket, basically proved his entire campaign was a lie by endorsing Clinton, who is the epitome of corrupt insider politics that is driven by elite corporate interests.
